The Web Space PCR test is intended to be the first line diagnostic option for patients with superficial web space dermatitis to diagnose infectious etiologies. When neoplastic processes are suspected, a biopsy for histopathologic evaluation is recommended.

Simple Skin Scrape Collection Procedure

With little to no post procedure wound care, the collection method for a patient’s specimen is a simple, superficial skin scraping performed in-office with the surface keratin collected in a Dermapak.
