ATLANTA. Nov. 19 – Robert C. Alberhasky, MD, a long-time pathologist at Bako Diagnostics and a leader in the podiatric community, died on Saturday, November 17th in a single-engine plane accident at Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport in Gainesville, GA.

“Dr. Alberhasky was a valued and respected member of the Bako family who had been with us almost a decade, nearly since the company was founded,” stated Ted Hull, CEO of Bako Diagnostics. “His professionalism and dedication to podiatric pathology is unsurpassed. Bob was a remarkable pathologist, clinician and, most importantly, person.”

“’Dr. Bob’, as he was known around the lab, was unselfish and was always available to help others,” stated Wayne L. Bakotic, DO, Bako Diagnostics co-founder and dermatopathologist. “His expertise, but especially his cheerful and kind disposition, will be sorely missed. Our deepest condolences to the Alberhasky family and to his many friends.”
